From the 2025 Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Experiential Learning Program, CCI has supported and funded CTEWorkforce, a workforce technology company, to deliver the Technology Enabled Engagement with Mentoring™ program or TEEM for short. Over the past five years, hundreds of students have successfully completed the program and emerged with the cybersecurity skills experience necessary to make them workplace ready.
What is Technology Enabled Engagement with Mentoring™?
TEEM is an award-winning mentee-driven learning program that facilitates online mentoring with a college student, for Virginia high school students interested in a cybersecurity career.
Why TEEM Works...
Students take the lead throughout TEEM, allowing you to take an active role in your own development and build your leadership, communication, and professional skills. Mentors focus on providing feedback, guidance, and professional insight – removing classic barriers and making participation easy and effective.
This flexible, online format gives you access to a college students who are just like you, but may be just a few steps ahead of you. After completing the program, you'll earn an industry-recognized certificate to showcase your growth and commitment.
